You can get a free blog on blogger. WordPress.com also offers a free blog, but you can’t put advertising on it.

I use wordpress.org, which you download for free on to you web hosting company account. Generally, most hosting companies have a way vai your cpanel to download it. You can then get the free themes and then make your homepage a static page. Then you can make a blog by using the “add new post.” You use the “add new page” to make a web pages.

WordPress has lots of easy plugins too enhance features of your website.

You might check-out books such as WordPress for Dummies, etc. (If you decide to buy the books, via amazon, consider going through the amazon link in the right sidebar of my websites: http://www.glennisgreen.com . I then get a commision and it costs you nothing.)
